Couple of summers back I witnessed a breathtaking sunset at the Cape. I faintly recall rushing through dinner (or was it late lunch?) to catch the golden light. We drove to the marshes and walked to the end of the boardwalk. As the sun dipped to touch the sea the Midas light turned everything in its path to gold - sky, water, grass and also dark dark my hair. The magic lasted only a few minutes but it was enough to be captured in my painting for a long time.
