#18: Apple of My Eye

Happy Friday everyone! It is a happy one indeed; I am out of my week-long artist's block where colors weren't speaking to me and the brush refused to obey my command. On a less poetic note, I'd say that I greatly enjoyed painting this portrait. There were hundreds of strokes but more or less each one brought me closer to the final picture. There is something blissful about a baby's face that instantly draws you towards it and doesn't tire your eyes from looking at it... even more blissful when it is the apple of your eye.
