I have a new found respect for artists who travel with paint supplies. Being away from home base has presented a challenge. Adjusting to things like a different brand of kitchen towel, paint tubes exploding due to air pressure on the flight, forgetting my palette at home and using a less convenient alternative of saran-wrapped ceramic plate; the list goes on. In spite of the minor roadbloacks, I am grateful for the abundant natural light in sunny California!
